Getting to Convention

Whether you're flying or road tripping it with your sisters, you can find information about travel here.

Flying to Dallas?

International Office will book flights for National Officers, Collegiate Official Delegates and Collegiate Alternate Delegates and send out their tickets via email.

Once you complete your event registration, you will receive a follow-up email with instructions on how to submit your travel information through Sisters Only.

All alumnae Official Delegates and general attendees (full time and part time) must make their own flight and hotel reservations. These attendees may opt-in to the provided ground transportation .

We know flight delays and other travel emergencies happen, so when they do, let IO staff know! Attendees will receive an email prior to Convention with emergency contact information.

Having plenty of clothing options is great, but keep in mind airlines may charge for all bags, some bags or overweight bags. (Maybe rethink that extra pair of shoes.) All attendees are responsible for these fees and may need a credit card to pay for them.

National Officers arriving on Tuesday for National Officer Academy will receive information about transportation to the hotel prior to their arrival.

Collegiate delegates arriving on Wednesday will be met by Fraternity representatives in ZTA T-shirts in the baggage claim area and directed to the ZTA shuttle pick-up area.

Convention never seems long enough, but all things must come to an end. Attendees will return to the airport on Sunday via shuttle buses. This isn’t our first rodeo—or more accurately, Convention—so we will let you know what time you should be ready to board the shuttle from the hotel based on your flight departure time. Shuttle times will allow plenty of time for getting through security.

Driving to Grapevine?

Attendees who live fewer than 300 miles from the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center are expected to drive to Convention. The Fraternity will reimburse mileage and parking for all collegiate delegates and National Officers who drive. We encourage collegiate delegates to carpool when possible; plus, the drive is more fun with friends!

Collegiate delegates who are driving should arrive at the hotel on Wednesday, July 13, by 12:30 p.m. There will be a come-and-go lunch upon arrival. The Opening Session will begin at 2:30 p.m.

Alumnae Ground Transportation

Alumnae traveling within the scheduled arrival and departure windows may opt to use the provided ground transportation. There are shuttle buses from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport to the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center. Please indicate in your registration if you wish to receive information about shuttle services, and ZTA will send more information.
