Hotel Accommodations

Room Block

ZTA has a block of rooms available for $195 per night for Thursday night (July 16) through Saturday night (July 18). There is a limited number of rooms available within the ZTA hotel block, and while you can request a room with two queen-size beds or a king-size bed, room type cannot be guaranteed. If more rooms become available, they will be added to the block, so check back later if you are unable to book.

If you would rather call to make your reservation, you can reach the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa at (760) 341-2211. Be sure to mention “ZTA Convention” to book in the correct block.

Checking in at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa

While it is nice to be comfy on the plane or during a road trip, please travel in conference-appropriate attire, as hotel rooms may not be available until after the Opening Session. If your room is not ready upon arrival, you will be directed to the luggage storage area. You will receive a ticket to claim your luggage once your room becomes available.

After checking your bags, go to the ZTA registration desk to pick up your name tag and other important information for the week.

The hotel may ask for a credit card upon check-in. If you choose to provide one to cover incidental expenses, we recommend using a credit card rather than a debit card. Charges for items such as Internet, room service, or phone calls from the room are at your personal expense.

Tipping

Tipping is a “thank you” for services provided. Since your trip to Palm Desert may include a few instances when tipping is appropriate, we provide the following suggestions. You may wish to bring some single-dollar bills with you.

  • Airport skycap, shuttle bus driver, and hotel bell staff: $1 per bag
  • Servers and room service (for meals you purchase individually): 20% of the bill (if not already included)
  • Housekeeping
