Check-in at Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center

As nice as it is to be comfy on the plane or a road trip, please travel in conference-appropriate attire as hotel rooms may not be available until after the Opening Session. When you arrive, you will be directed to the baggage storage area to check your luggage with hotel staff. You will receive a ticket to claim your luggage once your room becomes available.

After you check your bags, go to the ZTA registration desk to get your nametag that you’ll wear throughout Convention and other important information for the week.

The hotel may ask for a credit card upon check-in. If you choose to provide one to cover incidental expenses, we recommend you use a credit card rather than a debit card. Charges for items such as Internet, room service or phone calls from the room are at your personal expense.

Tipping

Tipping is a “thank you” for services provided. Since your trip to Grapevine may include a few instances when tipping is appropriate, we provide the following suggestions. You may wish to bring some single dollar bills with you.

  • Airport skycap, shuttle bus driver, door and hotel bell staff: $1 per bag
  • Taxi drivers: 15% of the fare
  • Servers and room service (for meals you purchase individually): 20% of the bill (if not already included in bill)
