Voting Delegate Preparation

The official Convention body votes on ZTA legislation and election of National Council during Business Meetings. Emails to official Convention body members will be sent in advance of Convention with the information to prepare for each vote.

Orientation Webinars

In advance of serving as a voting delegate, you will attend an orientation session. During this session, you will learn the basic responsibilities of serving as a delegate, including what to expect at Convention, your role, voting logistics and details on the changes proposed to the Constitution & Bylaws. Official collegiate and alumnae chapter delegates, chapter presidents and National Officers will receive email invitations with login information to the orientations in June.

Alumnae Delegate, Alumnae Chapter President and National Officer Delegate Orientation

  • Monday, June 24 from 8-9 p.m. ET

Collegiate Delegate and Collegiate Chapter President Orientation

  • Tuesday, June 25 from 7-8 p.m. ET

Before the orientations, we are collecting your questions regarding Convention and the Constitution & Bylaws changes to be answered together. You may submit questions to the form through June 15.

Credentials

All voting delegates must meet certain requirements to be eligible to vote. International Office will work directly with delegates to ensure they are able to complete these requirements. If a collegiate chapter has not cleared all delinquencies by May 31, the collegiate Official Delegate must go through ZTA clearance after checking in at the ZTA registration desk. New National Officers who have not completed all transition documents and Z-Learning workshops will also be expected to go through ZTA clearance. All National Officers are required to submit a report electronically prior to Convention.
