Can I still register?

Registration for ZTA Convention 2022 is closed. If you have any questions about your existing registration, please email registration@zetataualpha.org.

Can I show up to the Gaylord and register onsite or stop by to say hello even if I’m not registered?

No, we will not accept onsite registrations, as we must take additional health and safety precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all. We cannot prohibit you from visiting the beautiful Gaylord, but you will need a Convention name tag and lanyard to gain entrance to all ZTA Convention sessions, meals, rooms, etc.

Logistics, Hotel, Travel

If I need to leave Convention early for an emergency, do I have to make travel arrangements myself or can someone from ZTA help me?

A collegian cannot leave the hotel property without notifying their Collegiate National Officer, who will contact ZTA Staff.

All other attendees should communicate with their supervising National Officer if they need to leave the property or the event so that ZTA can account for all attendees.

How is ZTA handling COVID-19?

Convention attendees agree to provide one of the following:

  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination, showing the individual will arrive at the conference at least 14 days removed from their final, non-booster dose.
  • Proof of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test results taken within 72 hours of the day of arrival at the event. Tests (PCR or antigen) must generate a third-party test result that also shows the attendee’s name.
  • Proof of a positive COVID-19 test result taken no more than 90 days prior and no later than 14 days prior to the day of arrival at the event. Tests (PCR or antigen) must generate a third-party test result that also shows the attendee’s name.

Can I get through ZTA check-in without being cleared through Crowd Pass?

No. Upon arrival at Convention, anyone who did not upload proof of one of the above options will have to provide one of those options on-site.

If I have something come up or I get sick before the event and am unable to attend, do I get/does my chapter get a refund?

During registration, all attendees agreed to the ZTA Event Policies, which state that Zeta Tau Alpha will not accept changes or refund cancellations after June 1, 2022. Registrants also agreed to the policy that attendees of Convention 2022 voluntarily assume the risk of exposure to COVID-19 during the event or during travel and acknowledge that such exposure or infection is not the responsibility of Zeta Tau Alpha.

How do I indicate that I have a dietary restriction or allergy?

If you did not do so during the registration process, contact registration@zetataualpha.org as soon as possible. We will not be able to accommodate last-minute meal requests on site.

I will need ADA accommodations while at the event. How do I request accommodations?

Attendees were prompted to request any ADA accommodations during the registration process. If you did not include this or if you now need ADA accommodations, please contact registration@zetataualpha.org as soon as possible.

When will more rooms become available in the ZTA room block at the Gaylord?

No more rooms will become available in the ZTA room block.

The Gaylord only has king rooms available; will I be able to switch to a queen/queen room if more become available?

ZTA was allotted a certain number of king and queen/queen rooms within our event contract. Those have been made available in the room block and cannot be adjusted.

ZTA and Convention

What is Convention?

Convention is a chance for collegians and alumnae to come together to conduct Fraternity business, recognize achievements, and learn about new programs and initiatives. Learn more about what business happens at Convention here. It occurs in even-numbered years. Learn more about the history of Convention here.

Who attends Convention?

Any Zeta is welcome at Convention, as are vendors and guests. Each collegiate chapter sends an Official Delegate, and many send more than one member. Alumnae attend as alumnae chapter Official Delegates, National Officers, committee members and more! Check out the Who Attends page to learn more.

What should I wear to Convention?

For the most part, you'll wear business attire at Convention. On Friday, we’ll celebrate our philanthropy by wearing pink business attire. There are also special occasions during Convention that call for dressier attire, like the Recognition Banquet. We'll also conduct ritual services at Convention, so ritual attire is a must. Check out the What to Pack page for a full list of attire! Don't forget your ZTA badge!

Which day is each Convention guest speaking?

We are thrilled to have a dynamic range of speakers during Convention. Check out the list below to see when you can catch your favorite speaker. Visit the Speakers page  to learn more about each person and visit the Agenda page  to see the schedule.

  • Wednesday: Bonny Shade
  • Thursday: Nataly Kogan
  • Friday: Laurie Hernandez
  • Saturday: Alex Hudgens, Laura McKeeman Rutledge

This experience has made me want to get more involved. How can I do that?
