Who Attends

Any ZTA alumna or collegian is invited to attend Convention, and we expect over 1,000 members will join us in Indianapolis this summer.

Before you register, please determine the correct registration option for you from the list below.

Collegians

  • Collegiate Official Delegate (Full time): The collegiate Official Delegate is usually the chapter President or the designated chapter officer attending Convention.
  • Collegiate Alternate Delegate (Full time): Most collegiate chapters may send alternate delegates. The Province President/Mentor/Director of New Chapters will confirm who and how many alternate delegates your chapter is approved to send to Convention. All delegates other than the Official Delegate are considered alternates.
  • General Collegiate Attendee (Full-time): This option is for any collegian who is attending Convention full time but not as a delegate representing the chapter and thus not paid for by the chapter.
  • General Collegiate Attendee (Part-time): This option is for any collegian attending Convention part time but not as a delegate for the chapter. Part-time attendees will select and pay for options a-la-carte style. Part-time attendees pay for registration individually.

Alumnae

  • Alumnae Delegate (Full time): The alumnae Official Delegate is usually the chapter President or the highest-ranking chapter officer attending Convention, but any alumnae chapter member may serve as an alumnae Official Delegate.
  • Alumnae Delegate (Part time): An alumnae chapter may send an Alternate Delegate. The Alternate Delegate is typically a chapter officer. However, holding an office is not a requirement to serve as an alumnae Alternate Delegate.
  • General Alumnae Attendee (Full-time): This option is for any alumna who is attending Convention full time but not as a delegate for an alumnae chapter and not in a required role on behalf of the Fraternity, Housing Corporation or Foundation.
  • General Alumnae Attendee (Part-time): This option is for any alumna attending Convention part time but not as a delegate for an alumnae chapter and not in a required role on behalf of the Fraternity, Housing Corporation, or Foundation. Part-time attendees will select and pay for options a-la-carte style.

Full-time vs. Part-time Attendance

Full-time Attendance

We hope everyone will take advantage of everything Convention has to offer! Full-time attendance includes all Convention programs, events and meals. Anyone using Fraternity and/or chapter funds to attend Convention should attend full time. This includes collegiate and alumnae delegates and National Officers.

Part-time Attendance

For those who are unable to join us for every day of Convention, part-time attendance might be a good option. There will be an “a la carte” menu in the registration process. Part-time attendees have the option to stay at the JW Marriott Indianapolis. Part-time attendance is only an option for those using personal funds.

Non-ZTA Guests

Non-ZTA guests are allowed to attend meals and special programming. ZTA Business Meetings are private and only open to ZTA members. If you plan on bringing a guest, you may register and pay for their attendance when completing the online registration.
