Welcome to Indy!

We are very excited to host the 57th National/46th International Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. Indianapolis is colloquially known as “Indy” and is often referred to as the “Crossroads of America” because of its central location and multiple interstates that run through the city.

Indy is home to the largest single-day sporting event in the world, the Indianapolis 500. The city also boasts many professional and amateur sports teams and is a consistent host of many national sporting events.

Washington, D.C. is the only city in the country that has more memorials and monuments than Indianapolis. The Hoosier capital comes in second, with 33 such commemorations. Read more fun facts about Indy.

What is probably our favorite fun fact about Indy is that it has been the location of Zeta Tau Alpha International Office since 1977. In January 2018, International Office moved into its new building at 1036 South Rangeline Road in Carmel, Indiana (A suburb just north of Indy). Read more about the move, location and building on the main ZTA site. All Convention attendees will have a chance to visit IO - be sure to sign up for a tour time in your online registration.
