Celebrating our FHC

On Saturday, the Convention body gathered to celebrate and conduct the business of the Fraternity Housing Corporation.

FHC Business Meeting

The FHC oversees 66 houses, 4 lodges, 31 chapter rooms, and International Office. This biennium, an FHC National Officer visited every single FHC property!

Over the last two years, four chapters became members of the FHC, bringing total membership to 163. The newest members are Iota Tau (The University of Utah), Gamma Sigma (The University of Tampa), Zeta Sigma (The University of Texas at Arlington), and Kappa Nu (Monmouth University).

After a little dance break and fun FHC trivia game, FHC Nominating Committee Chair Alice McCann Mathews presented the slate for the 2026-2028 Fraternity Housing Corporation Board. With a vote of approval, the following officers were elected:

President: Natalie Yingling Lisko
Vice President Housing Area I: Kayte Sexton Fry
Vice President Housing Area II: Stephanie Rutledge Virag
Vice President Housing Area III: Kristen Oberg
Vice President Construction: Shari H. Robins, MD
Vice President Design: Ashlee Driggers Kositz
Vice President Operations: Meg O'Connell Naes
Secretary-Treasurer: Casey Guimbellot Pash

The board then recognized the incredible service of three retiring board members: Julie Ward Moxley, Marnie Marlar Frazier, and Kris Fleming. FHC VP Operations Meg O'Connell Naes said, “When you look at the years represented before us today, the accomplishments are remarkable. But what stands out even more than the projects completed or the titles held is the heart behind the service.”

To wrap things up, FHC President Natalie Yingling Lisko shared that the FHC will be celebrating 50 yeras in 2027. We can’t wait to celebrate the FHC all year long!

FHC Lunch

To kick off awards during the FHC lunch, we celebrated the sisters who have attended the most Conventions.

Loyalty & Commitment Award

The Loyalty & Commitment Award honors a sister who has never served on a board and continues to attend Convention as an alumna. The runners-up have attended 20 Conventions (Sue Goodwin Peyron, Alpha Gamma, University of Michigan) and 24 Conventions (Lucia Prenzel Knudsen, Theta Chi, Geoergia Mason University), but the winner was Bobby Seitz Turnbull (Alpha Theta, Purdue University), who received the award for attending an amazing 27 Conventions.

Nora Nell Hardy Jackson Outstanding House Director Award

This award is based on the management of staff and budget, care of the chapter facility, and relationships with chapter members.

Sarah Stich (Alpha Psi, University of Missouri)

Shannon Ferguson, Fraternity Secretary-Treasurer, said, “A Zeta Tau Alpha leader herself, Sarah Stich embodies loyalty, commitment, and belonging through countless acts of service—both seen and unseen as House Director of Alpha Psi Chapter at the University of Missouri.”

Julia Marthaler Hill Award for Excellence in Housing Leadership

This award recognizes the dedication required to sustain the quality of ZTA facilities and the proud tradition of ZTA’s leadership in fraternity/sorority housing.

This year, we honored two recipients for their dedication to the FHC:
