ZTA is home: FHC Lunch

The spotlight was on the Fraternity Housing Corporation during lunch on Thursday! We honored those who have maintained the excellence of Zeta Tau Alpha housing this biennium and in the past.

The Loyalty & Commitment Award honors the attendee who has attended the most ZTA Conventions and have never. served on board. This year, Bobby Seitz Turnbull received the award for attending 26 Conventions.

The Nora Nell Hardy Jackson Outstanding House Director Award was given to Gwen Banner, house director at Gamma Iota Chapter (University of Florida). While the recipient of this award is often not a ZTA member, Gwen became a special initiate of Gamma Iota in 2023.

Outstanding Housing Advisor Awards went to:

• Deanna Howington Harris, Housing Advisor for and alumna of Theta Gamma Chapter (Texas A&M University)
• Stephanie Enid McNally, Housing Advisor for Theta Phi Chapter (California State University, Fullerton) and alumna of Theta Omega Chapter (California State Polytechnic University, Pomona)

The Julia Marthaler Hill Award for Excellence in Housing Leadership went to Eta Theta Chapter (Missouri University of Science and Technology). This chapter oversees the staff, budget and management of its facilities as students. They even created an app to help manage weekly house chores!
